REFUND POLICY

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF COMPUTING
Computer Education, Digital Literacy & Skill Development Institute

Effective Date: 22 August 2026

National Institute of Computing aims to provide quality computer education and skill development training. This Refund Policy explains the terms applicable to course fees and other payments made to the institute.

1. Course Admission Fees

Once a student's admission is confirmed and the course has commenced, the admission/course fee is generally non-refundable, except where a refund is specifically approved by the institute or required under applicable law.

2. Cancellation Before Course Commencement

If a student requests cancellation before the commencement of the course, the institute may consider a refund after deducting applicable registration, administrative or processing charges.

The final refundable amount will depend on the individual circumstances and the institute's applicable fee rules.

3. Cancellation After Course Commencement

After classes or training have commenced, fees paid for the course are generally non-refundable, including where a student:

  • Stops attending classes voluntarily
  • Changes their mind about the course
  • Fails to attend classes regularly
  • Changes to another course or institute
  • Is unable to continue the course for personal reasons

4. Duplicate or Excess Payment

If a student accidentally makes a duplicate payment or pays an amount in excess of the applicable fee, the institute may verify the transaction and refund the eligible excess amount through the appropriate payment method.

5. Course Cancellation by the Institute

If National Institute of Computing cancels a course before it begins due to circumstances within the institute's control, the institute may provide a refund or offer an alternative course/batch, as applicable.

6. Payment Gateway Charges

Where a refund is approved, payment gateway, banking or transaction charges that are non-refundable may be deducted where applicable and legally permissible.

7. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund, the student should contact the institute and provide:

  • Student's full name
  • Course name
  • Admission/registration details
  • Payment receipt or transaction reference
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Bank/payment details, where required

Refund requests should be submitted through the official contact details of the institute.

8. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will normally be processed within a reasonable period after verification of the request and payment details. The actual time taken for the amount to appear in the student's account may depend on the bank or payment service provider.

9. Certificate and Examination Fees

Fees paid for examinations, assessments, certificates, re-examinations or other services may be non-refundable once the relevant service has been initiated or provided.

10. False or Incorrect Information

The institute may decline a refund request where false, incomplete or misleading information has been provided, subject to applicable law.

11. Changes to This Refund Policy

National Institute of Computing may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The latest version will be published on this website.
